Following YoYo's first full album "O.G Swing" (PWT52), the opening of the second full album named "O.G Magic O.G Music" is the lightly running song #1."Minor Chord Swing". There is a new evolution in the sound that attracts a cool look like "Swing Prince".

The pre-released 7inch analog record's (PWEP89) A-side song #3."Flowers Blooming on the Railroad Track" develops a delicate and lyrical melody as if the sound depicts the scene. In 2019, at the competition sponsored by the Songwriters' Association of Washington in the United States, this song received a Honorable Mention prize in the instrumental category from entries from all over the world and received worldwide attention. This song contains a forward-looking message for living in the present age, Contrasting "stopped time = discontinued railway" and "breath of life = flower".

YoYo covered The Carpenters' song in the first full album. This time, he did #4. "Rainydays and Mondays". The representative song #8."Father and Daughter's Dance" is a self-cover with electric piano, and #5."Pink Panther's Theme" is coolly produced with a dubious groove and comical riffs, the classic masterpiece of E. Satie's #6."Gymnopedie" and #7."Zoojaa Awa Odori", a danceable jazz arrangement of Japanese traditional Awa Odori melody... Many colorful and authentic covers in this project!

As contemporary artists such as Bill Evans and Nat King Cole, the sound format pays homage to the good old jazz, with tear-inducing melodic melodies and exciting rhythmic sounds. Many "Magic of Sounds" are sprinkled in this 10 track-album, and YoYo's entertainment is poured into it.



ファースト・フル・アルバム『O.G Swing』(PWT52)に続き『O.G Magic O.G Music』と名付けられた2作目のフル・アルバムの幕開けは、軽快に疾走する表題曲(1)の「マイナーコードスウィング」から。スウィング王子らしくもクールな表情を魅せるサウンドに新たな進化を漂わせる。

先行リリースされた7inchアナログ盤(PWEP89)のA面曲(3)「線路に咲く花」は、音で情景を描写するかのように、繊細で叙情的な旋律が展開する。2019年度、米・ワシントン作詞作曲家協会(Songwriters' Association of Washington)主催のコンペにおいて世界各国のエントリー楽曲より、インスト部門にて入賞 (Honorable Mention受賞)を果たし世界的にも注目を浴びたこの曲には、〈止まった時間=廃線〉と〈生命の息吹=花〉を対比して描きながら、現代を生きる上での前向きなメッセージが込められた。

ファースト・フル・アルバムにも収録されたカーペンターズのカバー、今作は(4)「Rainydays and Mondays」を選曲。代表曲(8)「父と娘のダンス」をエレクトリック・ピアノでセルフカバー、(5)「ピンクパンサーのテーマ」では怪しげなグルーヴとコミカルさを帯びたリフでクールに演出、クラシックの名曲E.サティ(6)「ジムノペディー」や伝統的な阿波踊りの旋律をダンサブルにジャズ・アレンジした(7)「ズージャー阿波踊り」…なんとも色とりどりのオーセンティックなカバーが連発!!

ビル・エヴァンスやナット・キング・コールなど、現代のアーティストとして故き良きジャズへのオマージュを感じさせるサウンドフォーマットに絡む涙を誘うメロディアスな旋律や心躍るリズミカルな音の数々、様々な音の〈マジック〉が散りばめられ完成する今作、YoYoの内から溢れるエンターテインメント性が注ぎ込まれた、涙あり笑いありの全10曲収録!
