Gecko/Wataru Sato’s new album "After World" with strings composition to be released on April 14!
“Wataru Sato” who composes mixed sounds ranging from ambient, electronic and atmospheric pop, is releasing his new album ”After World”, Including "Two Worlds" featuring Irish singer-songwriter Saoirse Casey.He has been studying under the pianist "Lubomyr Melnyk", who is known as the "fastest pianist in the world" and whose works have been released on Erased Tapes,a prestigious modern-classical label that has unearthed artists such as "Ólafur Arnalds" and "Nils Frahm".

Wataru Sato, a pianist/composer who has released numerous solo piano works as a New Age and Minimalist,modern-classical musician, is releasing his first strings work.The full album "After World" was completed almost a year after his digital album "Feel like April", which was recorded in his home studio in April 2020 during the pandemic
.
(1)Requiem and (9) Forget Me Not, performed by a trio including violin and cello with the piano melody, are the key tracks of this album, which, despite their extremely simple structure, create a cinematic world with chords, melodies, and ensembles that maximize the abilities of each instrument.
In (3) We Will Wander Forever, the melancholic interplay of piano and strings,softly bouncing plucking (pizzicato), and rich, airy sounds of bowing (arco) express the endlessly recurring fluctuations of the heart.
Two piano solos, a new song (6) Remembrance, and a transposed version (B flat Minor) of the aforementioned album's title track (4) Feel like April were also included.The original song has already been streamed over 150,000 times, and has been transformed into a deeper, more melancholy sound in this album.
In (5) The Other Land and (11) After World, the viola's unique mid-range added fullness to the music, and these tracks brought very significant sound impact at the middle and ending o f the album.(8) Blank is the only song that consists of electronic beats and synthesizer sounds.
(9) Two Worlds features Irish singer-songwriter Saoirse Casey, who founded the Eala Label with violinist Atowa Yuri, who also performs in this album.The song was co-produced by Wataru Sato and Saoirse, with lyrics written by Saoirse and arrangements by Wataru Sato, and was produced and recorded remo ely.The supple strength and beauty contained in her
pure voice maximizes the fantasy and nostalgia of this work.
